I am widowed, remarried, and have a an adult son with Autism and other issues. I began writing as an outlet while taking care of her partially disabled husband and special needs son.

The passion for writing was born in my great struggles with the unexpected twists and turns of my life. One of my favorite places is in a comfy chair writing in notebooks at the end of any day. My greatest purpose is to encourage as many people as possible through my words and writings. I love to cook, bake, sing, write, and play piano badly.

One of my greatest skills is making people laugh everywhere I go, intentional and unintentional. Trying every crazy diet imaginable to help my son inspired my creativity in the kitchen, fueled by my love of cooking. I make anything from yogurt and sourdough bread to Indian dishes and even lotions. At the end of the day I am a devoted Christian, encourager, wife, and mother.
